Can road salt effect the integrity of Motor mounts?

2001 Infiniti Qx4. Had sway bar links and new exhaust system installed. A slight intermittent vibration is coming from the steering wheel and frame when the vehicle is at idle with car in drive or reverse. Could this be the motor mounts? and would the road salt used in the winter effect the integrity of the motor mounts?
