Upgrade path for brakes and handling on Mini Cooper S

0 votes
I'm seeking  upgrades for my 46k mi MINI S. Right now that would be brake pads /rotors all around.

Next, I'm after an improvement in handling performance. Anti roll bar(s) for starters.

I see the HAWK HPS as a viable pad  option but nothing regarding a rotor match. Suggestions?

You can’t go wrong with the Hawk HPS, they are arguably the best street pads on the market.  For the rotors, I would suggest either getting a standard replacement rotor, or you can go with the power slots.  I would go with what is less expensive because you won’t be able to feel much of a difference on the street with the rotors.

Many people upgrade just the rear anti roll bar, and leave the front stock to give the car more oversteer (making it more neutral from the factory understeer).
