sequence for spark plugs and coils

Question

I replace the value cover gasket for a 1997 Acura RL3.5 4dr sdn and the spark plug and I dont know if there is a sequence or pattern I suppose to hook the coils in for it to start. The car was bought in March of this year. When the car died we checked the oil and think and assume that the oil cost it to die because it was over filled about 2 1/2 quarts above the dot. the spark plugs were flood we cleaned it out and replace new ones including replacing value gasket, O rings, and tested the spark plugs wire/coils and it still sparks, but the spark plugs wouldn't stick on to the tester how it suppose too.
