Has anyone ever put a 2 litre VW GTI motor in a Cabrio with the newer body style?

I'm interested in replacing the current standard 2.0 litre Cabrio motor with the 2.0 litre turbo motor that comes in the VW GTI. (my daughter owns a GTI and it's one smoking little ride). Is there anyone out there with some ideas?
