how do i remove the thermostat housing on a 1995 saab 2.5L 900 se once i have the intake maifold off

i have removed all three sections of intake maifold on my 2.5L fuel injection inclueding fuel rail from injectors.but i still cant get the thermostat housing off or up far enought to replace thermostat or seal what eles has to be removed?timing covers and power stearing?please help iam really stuck here.
