Is there a difference in crank shaft sensors for 97 Saab convertibles 2.3 as there was in 94?

I just ordered a crank shaft position sensor for a 97 Saab 2.3 16 valve convertible. Is there a difference in sensors for the 97 as there was for the 94? If so, can I return or change my order for the correct sensor?

Also, is the sensor for this engine located just above the oil pan just in front of the engine transmission joint?
