replaced windscreen now security won't let me start car or open doors, why

Today we replaced the windscreen on our 2001 GMC Sierra pick up and now doors won't open with button on key, but can open with key and once we start the engine it turns itself off after a few seconds.  Is this normal and what can we do? We live in Australia and not many specialists here, windscreen people don't know why this happened either. Please help

The Security Warning Light is your Passlock theft deterrent system.   Passlock enables fuel if the ignition lock cylinder is turned with a valid key.  If a correct key is not used, fuel is disabled.   If the engine stalls and the Security light flashes, wait about 10 mins until the light stops before trying to restart the engine.  Remember to release the key from the Start position as soon as the engine starts.  If the engine doesn't start after 3 tries the vehicle needs to be serviced.  You may also want to check your fuses.  But see your dealer for service.  For your windscreen I am unsure why you are having problems found this website maybe they can help you its in Australia:  http://windscreenreplacements.com.au/
