What is the name of the part that attaches the top of the trunk door to the bottom of the soft top of my vehicle?

I own a 1998 Chevrolet tracker.  I recently replaced my old top with a new one.  The only problem is that my trunk and my top aren't attached.  The black part that is used to attach the back of my top is broken and so there is a gap in the back of my car.  For example, if i put an umbrella in my trunk, I can reach into the gap and pull the umbrella straight out without having to open my trunk.  It causes problems because when it rains my car gets wet on the inside and when I'm driving, the wind comes through the back of my car and blows my top up! please help!
