I have a 2003 GMC SONOMA, 4 cyl, standard transmission.  I have been told that Cruise Control is not available for a stick shift.  A number of years ago I helped install a kit that had a magnet installed on the drive shaft that supplied the desired speed indicator to the controller.  Whether you have something like this, or anything that would work on my pickup, I would appreciate info about the cost and availability.  Thanks

I've installed a Cruise Control on a 99 Manual trans Miata, so the auto or manual makes no difference. I've bought brand new manual trans cars with CC on em. Just remember to hook the kill switch to the clutch. Brake and clutch should be auto shut-offs for the CC system.

I have a GMC Jimmy and I get alot of my parts and performance items at this website: http://www.carid.com/gmc-accessories/

A friend of mine has Cruise Control on her chevy pickup, and its a stick, she had it custom done.

I also like this company: they have a cc module that will fit your truck, didn't know if it is an SL or SLS, either way they have a module:

hope this helps a little.
