Does the ignition coil have anything to do with the fuel injectors not working on my 1990 gmc sierra

if i put gas in carburator the truck starts but as soon as it runs out it dies i move the wires to the ignition coil and other wires around the carburator and at times it starts but not always

yes, if it doesn't have fire, it won't let it have fuel,  that is so it won't flood itself
