Is it possible to stuff a porsche 911 engine into a 1995 Eagle Talon?

Im not even sure if this is pheasible. I have been talking a lot about some radical things a few men and women have done to their rides. I heard aninteresting just today. A guy i work with also has a side business, building prototypes for cars, as well as odd mods too. he runs a 98 mustang cobra with twin turbos... blah blah blah. well non the less his car is quite fast. He was telling me that a guy he met over the weekend. They met at a stop light and he was just chilling there minding his own business, a guy pulls up next to him and revs his engine and what not. This other gut is in a VW of some sort. A few moments go by of him revin up and what not finally my buddy revs back and its on after that. he told me that light turned green and that VW did a wheel stand and never touched the ground till it let off the gas, the only thing keeping it from falling over he said was the small wheelie stand in the back. Either way the guy had jammed a porche 911 motor into that thing. So in turn I have been contemplating if a swap of that magnitude is possible in a 95 eagle talon. hope some one can help.

The original VW engine was built by Porsche and so dropping in another flat 6 Porsche engine into a rear engine car is not that big of a deal.

Why you, or anyone would try to stuff a flat 6 motor in a front engine car is beyond me....and would be a pretty stupid idea. The transmission and fitment issues would be a nightmare.

If you want to make your Talon a RWD car, then you have millions of other better options. But if you have tons of cash, and just want to prove a point that it CAN be done.....then have a blast! You'll have the most expensive hybrid out there with sub par performance.
